Tuesday farmers market is back! It will start next Tuesday! It’s a seasonal market and will last till mid June. During the market season, I do pastry box pickup only for Friday. If you want pastries on Tuesday, please come to the main library! Can’t wait to see yall there!

But before I start Tuesday market, I’m going to attend Baker Fair at the main library this coming Sunday! It is all about baking! If you love baking or don’t bake but love baked goods, I think this fair is for you. You will see lots of local bakers and be able to purchase baked goodies. Come find your new favorite bakers! I will be setting up and bring some pastries too. Also the advocate is hosting cookie contest during the fair and anyone can join! All you do is bring 2 dozens of homemade cookies. I heard there is a prize for the winner! Sounds like a lot of fun 🤩

Hi there!!! Hope you’re doing well. I just wanted to remind you about weekly pastry box in case you’re new to my cottage bakery. Probably some of you might hesitate to DM me and pickup pastries because we don’t know each other….? I totally understand that…. Knocking stranger’s door could be a bit scary but do not worry I won’t hurt you 😂I just want to share my baked goods with you!

I make pastry boxes every TUESDAY and FRIDAY. I try to incorporate local seasonal ingredients when possible, rotate flavors so you don’t get tired (I do include at least one of my staples tho) and I try my best to make it perfect every time. (But I know there is no perfect thing in life…...) Pickup location is in Midcity area. I don’t post here but I will DM you! Payment method is cash or Venmo. I take Zelle too if you prefer.

Many of you have started following my account during this king cake season! Thank you so much! I’m not sure if you’re a seasonal follower or not 😂but I’m hoping you will stick with this account! I make other than king cakes too! King cake is the only “cake” I make…. I can’t make birthday cakes… I don’t know how🙈I make croissants, hand pies, brioche, cinnamon rolls and scones etc…. I make pastry boxes every Tuesday and Friday. How do you purchase? I think you’ve already learned how. Same as king cakes! lol. I post on my story and people claim and pick up. I know using DMs to take orders doesn’t look legit 😛 but it works perfectly fine for me. I hope to see y’all even after king cake season!

Happy epiphany! First king cake of the season 💚💛💜I’m going to make king cakes every Tuesday and Friday during the season along with pastry boxes. (This week I’ll be making on Thursday instead of Friday) I’m going to make some Galette des Rois but it’s going to be very limited same as last year. Hope you get to have either king cake or Galette des Rois or both!

The biggest decision I made in 2025 was ending Saturday Popup. I was afraid what if I regret it. I loved baking early in the morning even when I was exhausted because Saturday for me was everything. It had become a part of my identity. I was a little too obsessed with it. I was scared to let go. But I did. Now what… I’m still me and feel somehow, better. I do not regret starting Saturday Popup and I do not regret ending it either.

I’m hearing lots of fireworks from outside. I like this calm feeling…. Tomorrow is a new year. I’m very hopeful. Hope you feel the same way.

Btw I’ll be making pastry boxes for Friday January 2nd. First pastry boxes for 2026. Hope to see you soon!
