Mission
The Army’s mission is to fight and win our Nation’s wars by providing prompt, sustained land dominance across the full range of military operations and spectrum of conflict in support of combatant commanders. The U.S. Army Cadet Command selects, educates, trains, and commissions college students to be officers and leaders of character in the Total Army; instills the values of citizenship

Our lab last week focused on RAID! We began with a white board instruction and then moved to the levee to run through the movement.
Tiger Battalion participated in a Corps Run around campus today!! We had a great time and can’t wait to be able to have more events together!

Had a great day of recruiting at the Student Fair in the quad at LSU!! Cadets enjoyed talking to those interested in the program and we can’t wait to welcome new cadets next semester!

Tiger Battalion had a ruck in Tiger Stadium today, which consisted of climbing the stairs with a 35lb ruck! Cadets hoping to receive a specialty school slot had their last day of tryouts today, which was a 12 mile ruck! Good work everyone!!

Last week some of our cadets had the opportunity to attend a Cub Scouts of Baton Rouge meeting and teach them the significance of the Flag and how to properly fold it. They were all so excited and our cadets loved getting to spend time with them!

We had a relay PT to end last week! Cadets broke up into 2 groups and competed in a competition to see who could complete a log carry, 100 log sit-ups, and 1 water can sprint per person first. After we played a few games of tug-a-war!

Last week at lab we focused on Patrol Base Operations! Our lab started with a demonstration by the MS4’s and then we broke into platoons to move through the movements!
