The Arc Baton Rouge employs over 300 to serve and support individuals in a seven parish area. Services range from therapies for children birth to 3 years of age to job placements in the community for adults. We also provide opportunities for individuals to live independently in their own home; we provide care in emergency situations, and promote and encourage inclusive recreational opportunities.

When asked what her proudest moment at The Arc was, an Employment Specialist here replied: I have many proud moments working with the clients at The Arc. Most satisfying for me is when you see the light in their eyes shine bright when they realize they did it. To witness their self esteem rise and belief in themselves is so joyful to me.
