As we head into summer, we’re reflecting on all that this season of service has meant for our Rescue Kitchen. Every rescued ingredient, every volunteer shift, every partnership, and every meal shared has helped strengthen our Baton Rouge community in a meaningful way.

What started as surplus food became nourishment for families. To everyone who has donated, volunteered, partnered with us, or supported our mission along the way, THANK YOU!

We’re entering this summer inspired, growing, and more committed than ever to fighting hunger and food waste together. Stay tuned for volunteer opportunities this Summer because the fun is just getting started!

We had an incredible RED Day alongside Keller Williams Realty, KW First Choice at the Greater Baton Rouge Food Bank last week! 🙌 Thank you to every volunteer who rolled up their sleeves to help support our neighbors in need. Community is built through service, compassion, and showing up for one another, and this team did exactly that. With the help of Greater Baton Rouge Food Bank and East Baton Rouge Parish Library , we sent kids off for summer break with healthy snacks AND activity packets to enjoy! Can’t wait to do it again next year!
