"Fathers are not born, but made. A man does not become a father simply by bringing a child into the world, but by taking up the responsibility to care for that child. Whenever a man accepts responsibility for the life of another, in some way he becomes a father to that person." -Patris Corde

"After converting to the Catholic faith in 2012, I was told by many different people that I would be a priest one day. It was something that I denied interiorly while responding with a gentle, “If God wills it.” I asked God to give me the desire for priesthood if it was truly what He wanted, because I surely did not want it. The thought of the priesthood slipped into the back of my mind for a few years, and I began to focus more on coming to know who God was and who I was in His eyes. Long story short, there came a moment when I truly believed that I was His son and in that moment He invited me to be His priest."
