I'm sorry we have been MIA for a few weeks. We have had such a rough month.
It's with a heavy heart that I share-- our father passed away on the 2nd and it has been a non-stop month of grieving, processing, cleaning, and problem solving.

I just wanted to let you know that we are still here and answering emails, accepting clients etc. but with the holidays plus his passing, we're just a little behind.

Hey friends,

If you didn't know already, our dad had a liver transplant a few weeks ago. Everything went well, but unfortunately he is back in the hospital with an infection and a few other issues. I (Katie) usually handle all emails, scheduling, and editing. Due to this hiccup, I'll be staying in the hospital with our dad. If you have any questions or concerns, Hannah should be able to answer texts. I will be able to answer emails, but not as quickly.
If you have a session scheduled and have questions or are worried about anything at all, please feel free to text me. We are still working, but just a little slower than normal.

Thank you for your continued patience as we navigate this time with our family.

When we're not shooting weddings, we're remodeling my garage for Hannah to live in. Today is for picking up flooring and windows. Heck, we may throw in some insulation.

Does anyone else have a second family? When I met my best friend, Audrey, over 10 years ago, I had no idea the family I was about to be blessed with.
Their family knows how to love and cherish every person that walks into their lives. I now have so many bonus grandparents, parents, siblings, and a precious niece and nephew. I am proud to say I have photographed 3 of my bonus baby siblings weddings in the past two years!
Deanne + Christian got married last weekend and it was one of the best. It's surreal watching these babies grow up and start their new families. It's even more surreal to be part of it!

Congratulations to my bonus little brother and his wonderful wife!
