Today we host our 2nd eval, and as I think back over all these years, I really feel like I’ve done and still doing the dam thing here in BR!! 👏🏽👏🏽So many African American gyms have come and gone by way directly or indirectly through Baton Rouge Cheer Academy. One thing I know, is what and who is for us, is for us!!! 💚🖤So many athletes have come through our doors.. some have returned, some have kept their own journey. I say all this to say, Im honored to still be a pillar in this community AND to have given many their start!! I didn’t get a gym handed to me, I didn’t have to take other athletes from another gym to start, I didn’t have anyone hand me anything. I BUILT this program from the ground up. Has it been perfect, easy, NO WAY!! But Im grateful and blessed to have those who still support us. MY VILLAGE! Whether people want to admit it or not… they all know where they come from.. Good Luck to all this upcoming season.. We know who we are.. 💚🖤🫶🏾 The blueprint… the foundation.. THANK YOU BR!!! SEASON 19.. has started!

Parents!! STOP sending your athlete to school cheer tryouts unprepared and not ready cause you don’t want to say “no”!! Athletes stop going, if you’ve never done it before and you’re in High school. You are doing them a disservice! Help them prepare at least ONE YEAR in advanced for school tryouts! Get in classes, get in tumbling, work on jumps, motions, crowd appeal, and so much more! We do all of this at BRCS! These local middle and high school coaches and parents need to invest in their athletes. ONE SUMMER CAMP aint gone cut it! Let’s do better and train weekly, monthly, and get someone who knows the sport and safety! Our sidelines will begin to look better AND start competing and winning some titles for your school. So many coaches reach out to us and say they want their team to compete but the kids dont have the skills. Well duhhh, they don’t train! Message us today!💚🖤👏🏽👏🏽
