Y'all... there are still days when I just want to curl up in a ball and stop being the owner. The weight of the world sometimes feels so heavy on my shoulders, especially as our staff grows and the responsibilities of running a scaling business pile up. I recently watched a video of a man talking to a class while holding a glass of water. He asked them how much they thought it weighed, and then explained that the actual weight doesn't matter—it's about how long you hold it. If you hold it for a minute, it’s light. But if you hold onto it all day, your arm begins to ache, and eventually, you'll drop it, shattering the glass. It was such a powerful reminder that stress and weight in business are all about how long you carry them before putting them down.

Some days are definitely heavier than others, but when I get a message like this one, it brings me brand new life and a deep sense of gratitude for what I have built. I shared the other day that I started this business with just $500 and sold shirts out of the back of my car. Now, sixteen years into this journey, I still have hard days, but I have way more good days.

I am constantly surrounded by a great team, amazing customers, and a community that truly believes in what I'm doing. For that, thank you all so much! 💜🫶

Today is my mini Goldendoodle Magnolia’s birthday! 🎂🐶

She turns one year old today. I brought her home last August, right before the Ultimate Tailgate, and she has truly been the best thing ever.

This year, I wanted to share a little piece of my heart with you guys by having her turned into a sticker and design icon. Our staff absolutely love her and customers too when she comes to work with me. Never knew a dog could bring so much joy into my life but she has.

Shoutout to my friend April, who helped me name her, Magnolia. Scroll to the last photo see her on the first day I picked her up.

A week ago we launched our Louisiana Summer Collection, and needless to say, we are so incredibly grateful for the love you guys have shown these designs!

Do you have annual plans around the 4th of July? If so, what are your traditions?

I can go first (Meredith here, by the way!). We go to Florida and usually spend it with our best friends and their family from North Louisiana. We hang out on the beach, play tennis at Seaside, eat at Pickles (a total must-have), and watch the fireworks. It is easily one of our favorite times of the whole year!

This year is especially huge as we celebrate the 250th USA birthday! We can't wait to hear what you are doing, too.
