Saturday was such fun at the Back to School Bash in Melrose East at Ever Present God Ministries. Families enjoyed the food and gifts from the sponsors and donations from people like you. A special thank you to Pastor Tabatha Jackson and to all who made this event as sweet as it could be for families in the Renoir Cultural District!

We celebrated the new mural that welcomes you to the Renoir Cultural District in 4 languages today.

In collaboration with churches in Melrose East and other non-profits who simply wanted to love on our residents, we honored the artists and Stakeholders who stand by us. We had such good food and the giveaways were exceptional.

We give tremendous thanks to the Louisiana Office of Cultural Development, Partners Southeast, Lewco Specialty Products, Inc. Farrell Calhoun Paint, Victory & Power Ministries Baton Rouge, the children we serve at The Ascent Project, through the East Baton Rouge Parish Housing Authority, and the talents of Elloartist and Quon Smith. What a team!

The neighborhood impact today was beyond my imagination. I was hoping for a sense of "unity in the community" and we got that 10 X!
