Matthew Edmonds recently spoke to LSU’s CSC 4700 course, a collaborative class between LSU Computer Science and the E. J. Ourso College of Business focused on developing real-world AI solutions for local businesses.

Matthew shared how AI is being applied within the interior design and architecture industries through generative visualization, workflow optimization, and human-guided creative processes.

It was a great opportunity to connect the students building AI systems with professionals using them to reshape industries every day.

Our team recently met with Kern Architects for a program and space planning session focused on aligning vision, functionality, and user experience from the very beginning of the process. Collaborations like these help create thoughtful environments that support the people who use them every day.

Excited to share that CDI Solutions’ Matthew Edmonds is attending and presenting at the Environmental Design Research Association Conference at UMass Amherst alongside LSU School of Interior Design faculty and MSID candidates.

Matthew’s research explores how AI-assisted workflows can support creative control, iterative design thinking, and stronger design outcomes through human-centered processes.
