✨ Scenes from the 2026 LSU Rugby Banquet

A night that brought together the entire Tiger Rugby family all under one roof.

The opening remarks came from club legend Bob β€œBig Red” Causey, kicking off the night by regaling the crowd with stories of his playing career as a national champion and USA Eagle.

We recognized achievements of our squad this season with our annual awards (image included is Andrew Rossbach earning the Toolbox Award 🧰). The evening was a true reflection of what this program stands for.

We also welcomed new leadership, with remarks from incoming Head Coach Dennis Munter and the announcement of our new player board for next season.

The closing words came from current Club President Neal Geldenhuys, who reflected on what the program has meant to him in his time at LSU.

Thank you to everyone who showed up, supported, and continues to invest in LSU Rugby. Nights like this are what push the program forward.

Our players had the privilege of hearing from former Tiger this week, as he shared his journey and introduced us to β€” a UK-based charity focused on testicular cancer awareness.

This was more than just a presentation. It was a reminder that what we build as a team goes beyond rugby β€” it’s about looking out for one another and using our platform to make an impact.

We’re proud to begin working toward becoming one of the first U.S.-based ambassador clubs for , helping spread awareness and education here at home.

Huge thank you to Dan for coming back and pouring into the program 🀝

Tigers Drop a Hard-Fought Match in Atlanta πŸ…

LSU traveled to Atlanta this weekend with a mixed squad of seasoned veterans and rising Tigers to take on Clemson. In a battle that came down to the wire, the boys fell just short, 18–19, after a late score shifted the result.

The grit, composure, and growth shown by this group, especially with new faces stepping into big roles speaks volumes about where this program is headed.

Huge thank you to for a competitive, clean match 🀝

And shoutout to for the broadcast commentary and coverage of the action πŸŽ™οΈ

This fixture was an important step in building our 15s caliber ahead of our Los Angeles Tour (March 8–15), where we’ll travel west to take on UCLA. It also sets the tone as we begin building momentum toward our Fall 2026 XVs campaign.

Plenty to build on. The standard remains the standard. πŸ’œπŸ’›
