The October 2026 ACT Test registration deadlines are quickly approaching. Be sure to register by Friday, September 11, to secure your seat!

The Louisiana Office of Student Financial Assistance (LOSFA) will be closed on Monday, September 7, in observance of Labor Day.

September 18 is Day, and we are celebrating students who are starting their college applications.

Join Day by putting on your college gear and posting why you applied to college or why you believe today’s students should. Every voice of encouragement matters.

Reminder: The initial eligibility requirements to qualify for TOPS are established by statute and may differ from the admissions standards of the college of your choice.

The Louisiana Office of Student Financial Assistance (LOSFA) staff will participate in a mandatory all-staff training on Monday, August 31.

While the LOSFA office will remain open, staff availability will be limited, and visitors may experience delays or reduced access to direct assistance.

We appreciate your patience and understanding as our team completes this important training and returns to full availability on Tuesday, September 1.
