This past weekend the Louisiana Craft Brewers Guild hosted the first ever gubernatorial candidate forum at a Louisiana brewery. Bayou Teche Brewing knocked it out of the park and provided a great space and atmosphere for candidates to share their vision for the future of our state and particularly the business of Louisiana craft beer. Thanks for everybody who helped put on the event Louisiana Logger’s Association and PAC Louisiana Motor Transport Association, Inc. and candidates willingness to participate - we look forward to the upcoming election. Urban South Brewing makes first acquisition, buying Florida-based Perfect Plain Brewing Urban South Brewery, the 6-year-old beer-maker based on Tchoupitoulas Street, is buying Perfect Plain Brewing Company, a small craft beer operation in Pensacola, Florida.
