Bethel Church

Back to Church Sunday starts at 10:30! Who's coming? Lunch to follow, so come hungry!

If you haven't made a plan yet to come to Back to Church Sunday tomorrow, what are you waiting for?? 🙂

In this Scripture, we see that going to church is tied to love, good deeds, encouragement, and preparation for the Day of the Lord. It is not about attendance for mere attendance's sake; rather, it is about participation in the fullness of life that Jesus has called us to.

If you've been away for awhile, you can come back anytime, and this Sunday would be an especially great time to do it!

Good Morning Friends! Sometimes you want to give a little extra - Here's a link to give: https://give.tithe.ly/?formId=68b266b0-6865-11ee-90fc-1260ab546d11 - Stop just for a moment and ask the Lord what to give today.

"It was now about noon, and darkness came over the whole land until three in the afternoon, for the sun stopped shining. And the curtain of the temple was torn in two. Jesus called out with a loud voice, “Father, into your hands I commit my spirit.” When he had said this, he breathed his last.

The centurion, seeing what had happened, praised God and said, “Surely this was a righteous man.” When all the people who had gathered to witness this sight saw what took place, they beat their breasts and went away. But all those who knew him, including the women who had followed him from Galilee, stood at a distance, watching these things." (Luke 23:44-49)

Happy Good Friday everyone. May we all find time today to reflect on the crucifixion, in sober gratitude for what the Lord has done for us.

Have a great weekend, and we'll see you on Easter Sunday!

Happy vernal equinox! Aka the first day of spring, this day marks the end of winter, as we see, hear, and feel signs of new life popping up all around us.

More importantly, in just two weeks, we will celebrate Easter Sunday. Easter is the celebration of Jesus's resurrection, as we acknowledge the new life that has been given to us because Jesus died and rose again.

We hope to see you there!
