This is important for multiple reasons: 1. Partners can see that the Mommy-to-be is in good hands, 2. Partners can feel like they are a part of the pregnancy process, and 3) Partners can learn ways to help support Mommy-to-be at home (I.e. assisted exercises, massages, etc) in preparation for birth. This, in turn, leads to a more enjoyable pregnancy experience for both Mom and Dad.
