The gentleman of Kappa Alpha are teaming up with Tri Delta to put together a blood drive in support of Victoria Woodward and many others in our community. Victoria is the sister of our brother Wes Woodward (PC ‘23) and an outstanding young woman with a positive future. Please join us at the KA house on February 26th from 12pm-6pm to help the cause. The Alpha Gamma chapter is excited to announce that we are doing a toy drive to help out those that are less fortunate. Donate by Venmo to “kappaalphalsu”. The sorority with the most money raised will win a chapter night out with KA next semester.

It comes with heavy hearts to share the loss of our brother, Luke Lawson Falgoust. Luke was a valued member of the Alpha Gamma Chapter of KA where he was pursuing a degree in Industrial Engineering. He was deeply loved by his friends, family, and brothers. Luke embodied the true meaning of living life to the fullest. Anybody who had the pleasure to meet Luke would agree he had the natural ability to fill any room with laughter. His character and sense of humor were truly one of a kind. The memories Luke left us with will live on forever. Excelsior brother, until we meet again.  To honor Luke’s memory we are beginning a fundraiser for the Luke Falgoust Memorial Scholarship Endowment through the Kappa Alpha Order Educational Foundation (501c3). This past Saturday, after 8 months of fundraising, our chapter was proud to present Cpt. John David Roberts with his very own all-terrain, tracked wheelchair. Captain Roberts served in the United States Air Force, and then Army, for a total of 16 years before medically retiring in 2018. He now lives in San Antonio with his wife and three children. Please Join KA in raising funds for the new Hogs Family Residence to be built at Our Lady of the Lake Children’s Hospital. This new building will be a residence to families from around the state while their children are being treated.
