Thank you to everyone who showed up and help us present our Community Light House to the Baton Rouge Community! This hub is here to help local and surrounding communities during disasters. It will act as a community refuge, disaster response center, and will support emergency workers. You can check WAFB 9 News and WBRZ to see the video coverage of the event!

Brothers and Sister I know we have had a lot of inquiry lately so for those who have been asking about SELCAT Applications (Southeastern Line Constructors Apprenticeship & Training) being opened we just received this information today!!

This is for The Overhead Line Construction Applications!!

The Local 995 Theater is set and set up and ready! The movies are rolling, the popcorn is popping and we are excited and ready to spread the holiday cheer!!

Thank you to everyone who has come by and donated so far to the toy drive this year! We are always amazed at the amount of love people have for one another this time of year! Our last day for toy or cash donations will be this Saturday at our Christmas Movie Marathon. Movies will start at 10am and roll until can’t stand the Christmas Cheer any longer! We hope to see everyone here this year!

Hey guys just a reminder the Local is hosting a toy drive this year with Constable Terrica Williams for kids in the community. We have a week left for anyone interested in donating this year. The hall will be open all day on Saturday December 20th for our Christmas Movie Marathon for you to come by and donate any toys or cash for the RENEW to purchase a gift in your name. So far we have a few donations already and a stack of cash to go purchase toys with, thank you to everyone who has donated so far!
