Today Amor-Ade attend the lunch family festival at Kamali’s school. And even though it felt like I had 1 million things to do before being there, being present was my favorite part.

I also wanted to acknowledge the teachers and staff, Who may have felt stretched a little thin. Parents were late or unable to make it. And the students whose parents weren’t able to show up..

I’ve literally been all these. Which is why having the opportunity be present felt so special.

This year made me more emotional than the previous birthdays. I know she’s still my baby but she’s 5 and that’s a big girl age and that reality made me sad… Until I remembered.

Until I remembered the day she was born. This was our second birth of a Beautiful baby girl, but the 1st baby girl we were able to take home. Kamali is every bit of a promise fulfilled by God. She is walking, talking, skating, music making, painting blessing from the Most High.

And in a season where I am seeking God for my next steps, I am reminded that Abba hears my prayers and rest His favor on my family. His word endures forever. His love for us is immeasurable.💙✨

So here’s to one of the Happiest Birthdays there ever could be. Happy 5th Birthday Kamali Sade SOL. 🎂🎈🎉
