Print Making Update: mid semester

I wanted to emphasize how zebras are nature’s illusion, so I wanted them to almost look amorphous like a massive blob by distorting them and retracing their figures over and over again. This illusion is similar to how they confuse predators in the wild with their patterns in a herd becoming visually confusing.

Make Lemonade 🍋 a multicolor lino cut print.

Born of and Die by the Sun. (inspired by Chinese mythology/creationism) A Lino cut print to start off the semester. This was super time consuming but worth every last second!! I’ve definitely fallen in love with print making..

Tentative process sketches for upcoming print lab! This one in particular is based off of Chinese creationism/origin stories. So excited for my fist semester of printmaking!
