A select, auditioned choral group based in Bangor, Maine. Divisi performs exclusively contemporary c FMI : [email protected]

Divisi, a select choir comprised of local vocalists from all facets of the community (local music teachers, private instructors, high school students, college students and beyond), performs works from contemporary choral composers such as Eric Whitacre, Joshua Shank, Eric William Barnum, John Tavener, Arvo Paert and more. The mission of the group is to foster an understanding and appreciation of this style of music and within that capacity, to also benefit our community through our music.

Last week, Divisi had the honor of performing the National Anthem for hundreds of members of the Maine State Chamber of Commerce at The Cross Insurance Center in Bangor. It was a lot of fun and reinforced how truly lucky we are to share our love of singing with those from not only our local community, but from around our great state as well!
