❄️ Snow is here, Baltimore — and that means shoveling season ❄️
At City Fit Baltimore, we care just as much about how you move outside the gym as inside it. Shoveling snow is no joke, and poor form can lead to sore backs, tweaked shoulders, or worse.
🧠 Shovel smart:
• Warm up first (yes, really)
• Hinge at the hips, not the low back
• Keep the shovel close to your body
• Use your legs and core to lift
• Avoid twisting — step your feet instead
Think of shoveling as a functional workout: slow, controlled, and intentional. Your body will thank you tomorrow.
Need help learning how to move better in real life? That’s literally what we train for.
