He was raised by his adopted Greek-American family to appreciate the value of service. Together, they opened a steel workers' tavern that has become a Maryland institution, Costas Inn -- one of Maryland's premier steamed crab and seafood restaurants, one of the state's most trusted caterers, and increasingly a world-wide source for the quintessential ingredients to a uniquely Maryland experience. Today, the family tradition continues, with an undiminished passion to care for patrons like family and to serve only the highest quality and finest food and beverages available. And, with grandchildren now on board, the dedication to excellence worthy of Costas and Tsambika and the patrons who have supported us over a quarter of a century is really just beginning.
