CRGA Design

As we look forward to the holiday season, one of our favorite activities is participating in Kennedy Krieger Institute's annual Festival of Trees!

We are proud to engage in the community yearly both through our sponsorship of the event and design of a 7-foot holiday tree!! Our design was sold at the on the event website with all proceeds benefitting the patients, students and programs at Kennedy Krieger Institute.

Please join us in welcoming Yuchen Zhao and Shuo Yang, AIA, ACHA, LEED AP, EDAC to CRGA Design! Both of these talented individuals are wonderful additions to our architectural design team and we look forward to continuing to create meaningful healthcare solutions with them on board.

The CRGA Design Thanksgiving Potluck was a success! We are so thankful to have spent quality time today with our team members and AKF Group suitemates. Wishing everyone a wonderful start to the holiday season!

The CRGA Design team is extremely excited and honored to be a partner with Geisinger as they realize their vision to reimagine the patient experience. The Orthopaedic Center Pennsylvania will be a one-of-a-kind facility in the region providing the highest level of orthopaedic care. We are proud to be on this journey with our design/build partner Wohlsen Construction Company Construction and the Geisinger team!

Earlier this month, Architect Jeremy Kargon gave a tour of the CRGA HQ to a class of undergraduate students currently enrolled at the Maryland Institute College of Art (MICA). As a former architectural professor for Morgan State University, Jeremy was ideally suited for the challenge. He provided the novice group a glimpse of architecture in practice and answered questions about how architecture and design is applied in the healthcare industry. Other CRGA designers, including Usama Hassanein, Juan Cardenas, Lenita Eldhose, Austin Tucker, and Hugo Caldwell, dropped in to share their own perspectives. We were very pleased to host these students and hope their experience with the CRGA Design team added value to their understanding of the profession!

Our dedicated team for the Greater Maryland Heart Walk had a wonderful time getting active together over the weekend at Camden Yards and the M&T Bank Stadium! Over the last two months, our participating staff members worked hard raising money to support this cause, and thanks to our families, friends and the community, we raised over $2,000 for the American Heart Association - exceeding our goal for the year!

The CRGA Design team is just $258.28 away from reaching our $2,000 fundraising goal for the Greater Maryland Heart Walk, this upcoming Saturday October 16th!! ❤️ The event will promote health and wellness in the Maryland area, and all funds raised will go to research that will help defeat heart disease and stroke in our communities. We are thankful for our dedicated team that has set aside time to contribute to this cause, and of course everyone who has donated in support of our efforts thus far. Designer (and smoothie expert), Sreekar, helped the CRGA team celebrate World Architecture Day yesterday afternoon by making healthy and delicious treats for everyone in the office to enjoy together!

The CRGA Design team had a wonderful time celebrating the grand opening of the Jack C. Taylor Conference Center located on the grounds of The United States Naval Academy!! The new addition will foster innovation and provide an open forum for navy personnel to learn, share and grow alongside one another. We are extremely thankful to have been an integral part of this important project through our design of the facility and truly applaud everyone who made this journey possible.
