Last night was pure magic ✨🎻We had the incredible honor of sharing the stage with the legendary Andrea Bocelli at CFG Bank Arena! 🎶 Performing in front of 1300 mesmerized souls, with the enchanting Larisa Martínez- Soprano , the sensational Pia Toscano , and the iconic Italian rock star Zucchero Fornaciari  - it was an unforgettable symphony of talent and emotion! 🌟🎵

We are once again devastated to announce the passing of one of our own: John Vance, Assistant Principal Trombone until his retirement this past summer, passed away suddenly on February 1.

He joined the BSO in 1986. John was an exceptionally good-natured colleague who valued his fellow musicians and what he did for a living. You could hardly have a conversation with him without both of you laughing at some point. We will never forget his jazz trombone solos delivered standing from the back of the orchestra!

We send our deepest sympathies to his family, friends, and colleagues.💙🎶🕊️
