Thread hosted our first-ever Adulting Bootcamp! Young people attended four sessions, taught by volunteers and Thread staff, about "adult" skills we all wish we knew sooner, like:

Thank you to the Erin Levitas Foundation for hosting Thread at your annual Stroll and Roll! Our Recruitment Manager, Aaron, and volunteer Miss Joi had a great time supporting runners and walkers, including some Thread community members.

Thread Family Courtney and Leslie met up for the first time, after texting consistently over winter. They had dinner in Fells Point before taking a boat ride from Fells to Locust Point, and back! This is why volunteer consistency is key to creating lasting relationships with young people.

Thread volunteer Dan hosted young people Brianna, Dominic, and Jalen for a Career Shadow Day at his workplace, the Space Telescope Science Institute! What an out-of-this-world way to learn about possible career paths. 🚀
