Happy belated fifth birthday to my first body of work, Spectrum. This instrumental EP was born from a grieving 25 year old Raven during the pandemic. Creating this was the only thing that kept me happy as I dealt with grief in multitudes. Recovery was/is difficult.

Seems fitting to drop a project called Spectrum during Pride Month. Happy fifth birthday, Spectrum 🌈

Woke up feeling musical. Decided to fine tune a song I hadn’t looked at in a while. Or rather, I haven’t had the physical or mental energy in a while. I really haven’t been in the mood for this Internet stuff lately, tbh. Been really overstimulated by pretty much everything. Haven’t been in the mood to be all dolled up either. Today, I just threw on my “round the house” wig, hooked up my microphone to my laptop and got to jammin’. I decided to record myself practicing too.

For once, I was focused enough to not really speak much, but I did say a few things. Behold some riffs and some musings.
