🎨 We had an awesome time at our annual Family Fun Day earlier this month! ⚽

Kids and moms alike were able to let loose with all sorts of activities around the park while enjoying grilled goodies, snacks, games, and fun face paints from one of our JP moms!

We had an excellent Community Conversation earlier this month at UMBC 's bwTech South building! The panel was held by JP CEO Chastity Lord, JP Baltimore ED Danielle Staton, and Author and Peabody Award winner Joy Thomas Moore.

We heard the real life experiences of these mothers' who have broken down barriers to achieve a dream of success for themselves and their families, the very real challenges that now exist (and are only getting harder), and how communities across the country can come together to help provide pathways to excellence for student parents.

A big thank you to all who attended and added their thought partnership to this conversation.

⭐This weekend we celebrated the academic excellence of our JP Baltimore community! ⭐

An event was held to acknowledge our 15 spring semester Academic All-Stars and 14 kiddos who graduated from their respective schools spanning from kindergarten through high school!

Academic All-Stars are moms who finished the semester with at least a 3.0 GPA for the semester. This is the third semester in a row we've had 15 Academic All-Stars which is tied for the most in a semester!

Sustained excellence! 🎓

All JP kids in attendance were also able to pick up school supplies from the wonderful donations we received recently.

A huge thank you to our friends at Track Hawks Run Club and Charm City Run for collecting donations for our families at their recent Timonium Summer Block Party!

The community came together and gathered school supplies for our JP kiddos upcoming semesters. We were able to transport and compile all of the donations thanks to the help of some wonderful volunteers!

We're truly grateful for all of the support we received from this event!

Recent JP Baltimore graduate Chantel recently attended the DC No Kid Hungry Dinner, where she had the opportunity to learn more about Share Our Strength and the impactful work they do to end childhood hunger.

She also connected with fellow public health professionals, expanding her network and gaining valuable insights into the field.

We're excited to see her continue growing as a leader in the community!

We want to thank our awesome community partners at Ébène Pilates and Track Hawks Run Club for leading a special session for JP moms before the Baltimore Women's Classic last month!

The session included a warm up run and restorative Pilates session to help relax and reenergize. We are so grateful to work with such thoughtful and motivated partners who want to raise up our community!

🎓✨ Celebrating the Class of 2026! ✨🎓

Last month, we had the honor of celebrating five incredible Jeremiah Program Baltimore graduates at a special graduation ceremony. These determined mothers have worked tirelessly to achieve their educational goals while creating brighter futures for themselves and their families, and we couldn't be more proud of all they have accomplished.

One of the highlights of the evening was the unveiling of our new Graduation Wall. A physical representation and lasting tribute to the achievements of our graduates. We're thrilled to have this special space to honor the success of our moms and look forward to adding many more names and stories to it in the years ahead!

A special thank you to Baltimore City Council President Zeke Cohen for joining us, sharing inspiring remarks, and helping us celebrate this important milestone with our graduates and their families.

We would also like to thank Joy Thomas Moore for attending the event and helping to inspire everyone in the room. Her encouragement and support made the celebration even more meaningful as we recognized the hard work, resilience, and achievements of our graduates.

Congratulations again to our graduates! Your perseverance, dedication, and commitment to your goals are an inspiration to us all. We can't wait to see what comes next! ⭐⭐⭐
