Al Clifft Trombones

The Thursday Bones, 2011. Good times with Al Clifft and trombone players from both APU and Citrus.

Still it is difficult to come to grips with Al being gone. His presence was certainly felt in his church during their Christmas program on December 7. I kept expecting him to be either conducting or sitting in the trombone section

Thanks to all who came and shared their trombone talents to honor Al Clifft today. He would have been deeply moved and sincerely happy. It was a heartfelt tribute, one that we will all not soon forget.

Everyone please note: The time and location for the memorial service has changed, however the date remains the same, Sunday, September 28. The service time is now 3:00 PM. the location is Pasadena First Church of the Nazarene. The rehearsal will be at the church, starting at 1:30 PM, downstairs, below the sanctuary, in the choir room. Dress is coat and tie for men, and something equivalent for women. If you have already confirmed you will be playing, you don't have to re-confirm. However if the new time and location make it impossible for you to attend, please leave a comment to that effect. Looking forward to seeing you all and sharing good music in memory of a dear friend and colleague.

Sunday, 9/28, 2:00 P.M, Upper Turner Campus Center at Azusa Pacific University. There will be a brief rehearsal that day at 1:00 P.M. in the APU Band room. Directions to follow
Hoping as many trombonists as possible can make it. Please leave a comment saying whether or not you will attend.
