Day 4 at NLSC 2026 was packed with new experiences! Students spent the day exploring more of Atlanta, meeting fellow SkillsUSA members from across the nation, and cheering on Jordyn as she competed in her event. We are incredibly proud of the dedication, leadership, and school spirit our students have shown throughout the week. 🔴⚪️

Day 3 at the SkillsUSA National Leadership & Skills Conference was packed with excitement! Students attended orientation, experienced the energy of opening ceremonies at State Farm Arena, and Brianna completed her test competition. Along the way, our students have also had the opportunity to meet and connect with students from schools across the country. We are proud of how well they are representing Aztec High School and New Mexico! 🔴⚪️

Today we celebrate the incredible hearts of two members of our transportation team, Maggie Templeton and Candi Moffett.

Through their compassion, generosity, and dedication to others, they helped raise $10,000 to support a student’s family in their fight against cancer. Their kindness is a powerful reminder that our schools are more than classrooms — we are a community that shows up for one another in difficult times.

We are so proud to have Maggie and Candi as part of our district family. Their willingness to go above and beyond for our students and families reflects the very best of who we are.

Thank you, Maggie and Candi, for leading with heart and making a lasting difference. ❤️

Day 2 in Atlanta, Georgia!

Our Aztec High School SkillsUSA students had the opportunity to attend leadership sessions, explore Atlanta, and visit some incredible attractions including the Georgia Aquarium.

From sharks and dolphin shows to team activities and sightseeing around the city, students are making unforgettable memories while representing Aztec High School on the national stage.

Competition begins soon at the National SkillsUSA Championships and we are so proud of all of our students for their hard work and dedication! ❤️💙

​It is time to put in the work, build the chemistry, and set the foundation for an unforgettable championship season! Summer workouts and practices officially kick off this week, starting Monday, June 1st for most of our programs.

​If you want to play like a champion in the fall and winter, you have to train like one in the summer. Let’s get after it! 💪🔥
