Precisely measuring a late model LT chevy block

When we bore cylinders we arent just cutting metal out to get damaged or rusted areas out. We are also correcting block geometry. A cylinder should run perpendicular to the deck of the block. Here you can see that it did not cut the bottom of the cylinder. So when we are done with this block all the cylinders will be perpendicular to the deck or some might call it square.
