FBC Aztec Kids

Awana Club will start Sunday, September 7th at 5:30 pm for children 4 years old through 6th grade. Children will meet as a group for worship and teaching, then break into small groups based on age for more in depth teaching and activities. There will be a meeting for teachers, volunteers and anyone interested in learning more about Awana this Sunday, the 27th, after church. Please attend this meeting if you can.

VBS skit practice will begin Sunday at 5:30 pm and continue each Sunday until VBS. If any kids wish to participate, they will need to be here on Sunday nights. See Nicole Rybacki for more information.

Sunday night discipleship classes for Sprouts (K-4th) and Rooted (5th-6th) kids are paused and will resume on July 21st. See you soon!

The Children's Ministry is having a pizza party at the Splash Pad (Minium Park) this Sunday evening, June 2nd at 5:30 pm!

Hey kids! Are you ready to get soaked?! Bring a friend and come down to the Minium Park splash pad for some fun, food and games Sunday, August 6th at 5:30 pm. All K through 4th graders are welcome!

Step back in time at Jerusalem Marketplace, exploring traditions, food, and activities. Kids participate in the marketplace, sing catchy songs, play teamwork-building games, dig into Bible-times snacks, visit the Synagogue School, and collect Bible Memory Makers to remind them of God’s Word. Plus, everyone learns to look for evidence of God all around them through something called God Sightings. Each day concludes at Celebration—a time of upbeat worship that gets everyone involved.

Sunday, July 17th, we’ll have our VBS Sunday where the kids will sing their songs for us as well as have a BBQ on the back lawn.

Child Check in
Parents, we are going to begin implementing a new check in system for our Nursery and Kid's Zone. You will be given a security tag after checking each child in that you must bring back when you pick up your child. We will start using the new system this Sunday. Please bear with us as we all learn the new system.

There is still room for kids to attend Children’s Camp. Camp is for children in the 3rd through 5th grades and is June 13th through the 16th. Total cost for camp is $120 and all paperwork must be turned in to Crystal ASAP.

Parents and grandparents, have you heard about the app Parent Cue? It’s an app that helps cue you to make the most of everyday moments with your children. This app will help you to disciple your children/grandchildren and also help you keep Jesus in front of them in easy and fun ways. You only have 936 weeks of influence from the day they are born until they graduate. Parent Cue helps you make the weeks count and connects you with practical things to read, do or say to help you engage with the heart of your child this week. Pastor Mike recommends you download the app from your app store.
