🚗💨 Ready, Set, Investigate! 🔬

Our Cross Timbers scientists were putting their curiosity into motion with a hands-on investigation called “Move and Stop: Ramp Surfaces!”

Students made a hypothesis about which surface would help their toy car travel the farthest. Then it was time to test their thinking! They sent cars down a ramp covered with different surfaces—parchment paper, a thin rug, and rubber shelf liner—and carefully observed what happened. 🚗📏

Along the way, students:
🔎 Asked questions and made observations
🧠 Made hypotheses
👋 Used their senses to explore and investigate
📊 Used simple tools to gather and organize data
💭 Analyzed their observations and made conclusions
🗣️ Shared their discoveries with others

The best part? Our students weren’t just learning about science—they were doing science! 🧪✨

We love watching their curiosity grow as they wonder, test, observe, and discover! 🌟

🔬🚗 Science in Motion! 🚗🔬

Our students put on their scientist hats and got hands-on with a fun investigation called “Surface Matters”! 🧪✨

Students began by making a hypothesis about which surface would help a toy car travel the fastest. Then, they conducted their experiment using a tabletop, sandpaper, and bubble wrap, carefully observing what happened along the way.

It’s amazing to see our students learning that scientists don’t just know the answers—they ask questions, investigate, collect evidence, and use what they discover to make conclusions! 🌟

Who knew a toy car, some bubble wrap, and a little sandpaper could create so much scientific learning? 🧪🚗👏

We are celebrating Mrs. Tucker today at CT!

We are thankful for this crew! They keep our school clean, and that’s no easy task. They get the most credit for cleaning but there are so many other things they do that we appreciate everyday! Thank you custodians for being CT Superhero’s!!!
