Y’all know I am not about pushy sales tactics, but there are now 2000 reasons to replace your old air conditioner before the year ends.
The up to $2000.00 tax credit is ending soon!
There has been a federal tax credit of up to $2000 on my very favorite Trane systems. This credit was an ongoing program that was scheduled to continue for years. I just became aware that the program now ends this year.
There will be no $2000 credit on equipment installed after Dec 31, 2025. If you were planning to replace a system in the next couple of years anyway, it could cost you $2000 more to wait.
If you replace your system this Fall, you could enjoy the efficiency and peace of mind the new system brings and get up to a $2000 tax credit on qualifying systems.

I recommend acting sooner rather than later. Stocking levels have been good lately. I expect that to change as more people get in line to take advantage of the tax credit. December may find the qualifying equipment back-ordered.

One last note, I always get new price lists sometime between mid-December and mid-January. Manufacturers rarely lower prices these days. The new pricing almost always brings an increase.

This old system has served faithfully 19 years. Today it retires to The Poe Air Happy Hills Retirement Series for aged air conditioners. The last two pics are of the system that has relieved it of duty.

My brother and I removed this hive from a church yesterday evening. They were a very agressive hive and had stung a few people at the church. They were also very productive. Honey rained down on both of us in the process and we were covered. They were entering through an unsealed spot where the soffett met the rock.

Local folks, keep an eye on the weather. There is some potentially nasty stuff coming in around dark.

I just paid attention to the date. D-Day was 81 years ago today. I didn't know until a couple weeks ago that Theodore Roosevelt Jr (Teddy's son) landed on Utah Beach and was the oldest man that participated in the Beach invasions and the only General to do so. Meanwhile the grandson landad on Omaha Beach.

Heroes never die.

This system is retiring today after 20 years, which is good by todays standards. Actually it retired itself last week. Either way, it will be going to its forever home at the Poe Air Retirement Ranch for old air conditioners. It is a wonderful place to send your old air conditioner.

Today Summer asks, "Remember me?". The window is closing on the best time to replace an old system.
