Thank you everyone for your business and support, I am temporarily closing for the time being to focus on flying. I am unsure what the future holds for Squawk 7600 but I hope to bring it back providing products and kits for DIY repairs and replacement parts. For now it’s in my best interest to discontinue the work until my pilot career is further along.

Again, I can’t be more thankful to the customers, and I know many of you are in much better shape now. I hope the best to everyone, and feel free to contact me if you have any questions.

Have a safe flight!

Been a while since I’ve posted an update, today I have found a way to convert none Bluetooth Bose A20s to Bluetooth affordably. It entails some wiring and connector changes and uses the Bluetooth controller that would normally come with the Bluetooth headset. For those of you wanting Bluetooth after purchasing a non Bluetooth headset I will be offering the swap for $120.00. This saves you from purchasing the $400.00 controller/cable assembly from Bose with the same results and features. Please be aware that headsets within the 5 year warranty may no longer be warrantied without original components.

David Clark ANR headset repairs today, waiting on parts for a few more! Let me know what you need!

Bose are typically the harder headsets to repair, due to the nature of the proprietary parts and lack of parts available from them, but cables have become a fairly regular repair on them for me, so don’t go spending $400 on a new cable assembly when I can replace the section you need. Be sure to check your warranty status before hand of course!

*****SOLD*****

I have a David Clark’s noise cancelling H10-13X that has had the mic swapped and adapter added for GA use up for sale $350. This is a lightly used headset that retails new between $650-750. It takes a 9v battery and has excellent ANR and PNR. I use a headset almost identical to this and love it.

This headset has been tested, serviced, and cleaned. This is an awesome headset for anyone spending time in loud planes and I will repair it for free in the 1st year if any issues arise that are not caused by obvious damage.

A lot of headsets have come through in recent weeks and returned to the customer in much better shape. Soon I will be making some investments and adding to my shop to allow for even more repair options to include replacement parts that are no longer available and custom pieces that fit like factory. Be expecting updates in the next month or two that will be very exciting for the surrounding aviation community!

The picture below is the most common repair I’ve been making so far, lightspeed headset cables.

Current headset troubleshoot, this one was sent to me with a right ear no sound issue. Most of the time it would be the harness/cables that’s the issue, but in this case it’s corrosion on the board. The subminiature switches for mono/stereo and soft mute are both corroded pretty bad from some water on the board. The blue in the picture is the remaining corrosion before cleaning. These are some hard switches to hunt down but I found a replacement that will fit perfectly, should be working like new by Friday!

Let me know if you have any issues or custom cable requests, I’d be happy to help!
