Landon just made it into the big dance tonight at KSP!!! It wasn’t easy and it wasn’t pretty but he drove his heart out to finish 7th in the B from 16th even after spinning out while running 3 wide for transfer spot. Top 10 transferred to the A… Came from the back 2x and put her in the show!!!!!!!

Night ✌🏼 of Mike Melton Memorial at KSP

Night #1 of the Mike Melton Memorial race at KSP didn’t end the way we had hoped. Been a couples years since Landon last raced at KSP and never had to do time trials before. Timed in 22nd out of 30. Started 6th in the heat and finished 7th with not much passing and couldn’t get to the bottom on the start. Started 14th in the B feature with top 8 transferring to the A. Finished as a DNF due to clipping a car that spun out and causing a flat LR. We were waiting for him, along with some other race team crew members, in the hot pit to get the tire changed but he was kept in the infield. Unfortunately how you did on night 1 sets you up for night 2 with top 10 from night 1 locking into tonight’s big dance so hoping Landon got a good nights rest and ready to hammer down as he will be starting deep in the field tonight.
