Pragathi was founded in 2004 by a group of nine professionals in Austin with roots to Karnataka, India. Each one of the founders had his/her own experiences that brought them together to make a difference to thousands of children in India. Karthik Satish, a Pragathi Scholar and a 6th semester student at IIT Roorkee, has been selected for the prestigious Google Summer of Code (GSoC) mentorship program! πŸŒπŸ’»

As part of GSoC, Karthik will be contributing to open-source software development alongside global mentors β€” a remarkable achievement! πŸš€

That’s not all β€” Karthik has also received research internship offers from IIT Delhi and IIT Kharagpur, further testament to his dedication and talent.
