HOME | COURAGE OVER FEAR 05/01/2025

I’ve been pretty quiet the last few months because I’ve been heads down writing a book. Today, I finally get to share it: Courage Over Fear is now available for preorder. This book is based on my experience during my time leading at Tesla. Working under Elon’s leadership showed me how fear-based leadership can take hold—fast—and what it costs organizations, cultures, and people.

Ultimately, I wrote it because fear is controlling our society—and I refuse to stand by when there’s still time to build something better for my sons' generation. I don’t want my boys growing up believing that fear is how you lead, how you live, or how you treat people. I want them to know that courage is always an option, even when it’s hard.

Courage Over Fear is a call to build something better: workplaces, communities, and a future where leadership is driven by values, not fear. Thank you to everyone who has supported me and this project along the way. The work is just beginning.

Opinion | Naval Academy Censors Ryan Holiday’s Lecture on Censorship 04/19/2025

Someone. Step. Up. Where are the courageous leaders at USNA? These students are about to embark on a inherently dangerous career and Academy leadership thinks books and critical thinking are the real danger?!

“No one at any public institution should have to fear losing their job for pushing back on such an obvious overreach, let alone those tasked with defending our freedom. Yet here we are.”
