Since the other half of that 43-23 channel (Gate 23) is undefined for me, that knowing has to find its way to my voice through other pathways. But when Gate 23 transits — like it does this week — the 43-23 channel completes in my chart. The Channel of Structuring switches on. My Ajna gets a direct line to my Throat. The knowing that usually lives in the background suddenly has somewhere to go.

I came to Human Design later in life, in a coffee shop with a small group of women I had only just met. I was already, what they called, “off the roof” as a 6th line (whatever that was). My journey through life was different, I always knew that. I felt it, I just didn’t understand it.

There’s a period of time in the life of many women that we all know really well, but unlike “youth” or “midlife” it doesn’t really have a name.
It’s the period where you’re managing everything: the kids, the home, the relationship, probably a career somewhere in there too. And you’re not just managing it and getting by, you’re really good at it.
