Most people don’t lose themselves all at once.

What I’ve found, both personally and in working with clients, is this:

You don’t need more effort. You need better return.

And before you try to change patterns, you need to feel safe in your own body.

Simple practices like pausing, breathing, and gently releasing what isn’t yours begin to restore your baseline.

Once you feel more stable, you may begin to notice something surprising:
Not everything you feel is yours.

When you gently interrupt these patterns:
when you stop tracking, release attachments, and return to your own body.

You begin to experience something new:
Relief without guilt.
Clarity without withdrawal.
Connection without depletion.

If you are someone who supports others,
a practitioner, a caregiver, a guide,
this becomes even more essential.

You cannot sustain your work by giving more.

You sustain it by staying with yourself while you give.

You are no longer the one who absorbs and processes for others.

You become the one who holds steady while they find their own center.

You are not here to manage the world.

You are here to remain in yourself while you move through it.

And when you do,
The center holds.
