Texas Monthly and Texas PBS are kicking off an exciting new partnership with the upcoming launch of “Texas Monthly Presents,” a series produced by the award-winning magazine and broadcast channel that brings the publication’s journalism from the page to the screen. 📺 The magazine has been home to many of the state’s great writers, who are known for capturing unforgettable senses of place, larger-than-life characters, and unique experiences. In the inaugural season—titled “The Story”—viewers will be immersed in the world of @texasmonthly stories as writers for the magazine peel back the veil and reveal the fascinating ways their articles came to be—which are often stories in and of themselves. The first season will launch in two parts, with the first starting on May 4, with four episodes, and the second beginning in the fall. Step into the writers’ room—and experience Texas through a storyteller’s state of mind.
