2026 is about one thing: showing up.
Our local queens are leading the way.
While others talk…
they’re in the room.
📣At our Capitol, fighting legislation that impacts our community
📣On stages, creating spaces where people feel safe, seen, and celebrated
📣In our city, building community when it matters most
Their contributions go beyond performance.
They are pillars of our community.
They are using their voices, their platforms, and their artistry to protect, uplift, and advocate for all of us — in real time.

2020 isn’t history…
it’s happening
right now.
Trans people are still fighting for something that should never be up for debate:
the right to exist safely, openly, and fully.
Across the country, laws and policies are targeting basic human needs — where people can go, how they (we) are seen, and who they (we) are allowed to be.
And yet…
They keep showing up
They keep speaking out
They keep existing — boldly and unapologetically
Because trans rights are our human rights!
This moment in our show isn’t just about history,
it’s about right now.

Drag didn’t just exist in the clubs anymore…
it took over living rooms across the world.
What was once underground, rebellious, and tucked into late-night spaces became front and center — televised, and undeniable.
Icons like RuPaul Charles helped bring drag to a global stage,
introducing millions to the artistry, the humor, and the power of self-expression.
From underground to mainstream
From niche to necessary
From hidden to headline

Love wins …
and it was finally recognized.
Marriage equality became the law of the land —
a moment built on decades of advocacy, protest, and people refusing to settle for less than full equality.
National leaders like Ruth Bader Ginsburg helped shape the path forward —
reminding us that justice doesn’t happen overnight…
but it does happen when people keep showing up.
This wasn’t just a legal victory —
it was personal.
It meant families, futures, and the simple right to say
“I do.”

The 2010s didn’t just shift the conversation…
they expanded it.
This was the decade where identity found language —
where more people could finally say, this is who I am, and have the words to back it up.
Trailblazers like Eddie Izzard and Alok Vaid-Menon helped push that visibility forward —
challenging norms, redefining gender expression, and reminding the world that identity isn’t one-size-fits-all.
More language
More visibility
More room to exist exactly as you are
Because who we are has never been the problem…
we just needed the world to catch up.
