For the new album “Broken Paradigm” a custom painting was created by . This painting nails the attitude and themes and adds a layer of intrigue beautifully executed by Shirin. This 4-song EP entitled Dawn is about endings and beginnings.

I worked on these songs mostly during transitional periods in my life where a chapter was ending and it was hard to see what would come next.

The fulcrum of change is a fascinating place. It’s as energizing as it is unsettling. It’s the pivot point where darkness and light collide and you have only a few moments to choose how you will face the dawn.

As I turn another page today, I’m feeling connected to the part of myself that is a musician.

As a husband, father, brother, son, friend or colleague — music is my lifeblood. It powers everything I do. It excites my mind, connects me to loved ones and channels my strongest feelings into something productive. It’s my church, my political party, my community and my smash room.

As a rocker at heart, nothing beats being surrounded by 100+ decibels of sonic energy pumping though the air — leaving no space for petty differences. This language, defined by thousands of frequencies, far surpasses any form of communication ever created by mankind.

To me, music is not a commodity. It’s a place where philosophy, emotion and technology converge. It’s a place where you can bare your soul and where your story can echo forever.
