Recently I sent four corrupted files to Data Recovery. While there were initial problems with them recovering my files, they were polite and helpful when I explained they hadn’t sent me the recovered files. I thought maybe they couldn’t recover them (a terrible outcome as due to ink cartridges shortages –due to covid 19—I didn’t have a hard copy), but the tech I talked to said they should have been easy to recover. And he did. Somehow the files were lost (I don’t know how. I use a computer the same way I use a car. I know the basics: putting gas in the tank, checking tire air pressure and topping off fluid levels. Beyond that I hire someone who knows what they’re doing) Anyway they helpfully sent them again, and I now, thankfully, have all my data back. While some people might complain about the cost, I think it’s a matter of how much something is worth to you. For me it was worth every penny I paid them.

I received the flash drive with my recovered files today. Thank you SO MUCH!! You really don't realize how much your data means until you think you may have lost it all. You guys are the best!!!

Attention iPhone users! Apple released their iOS 14.8 update today and we wanted to share some tips on getting the update without losing your data.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⁠
One of our most frequent data recovery questions surrounds iPhones and boot loops – a failure called Error 14. This can happen when your iPhone downloads its own system updates, but your phone is overfull with too much data. It crashes your phone, causing it to power up and down in a loop. This is an unrecoverable situation, so if your data isn’t backed up, that’s it – all of your mobile device data is gone.

We highly recommend turning off your auto-update setting, completing a backup before applying an iOS update, and keeping a minimum of 15% free space on your phone.
