My mom always held a special place in her heart for Chicago, and I thought of her often during this trip. 💕💕💕

This week I joined my mastermind group for our annual meetup — and what a time we had! The fall colors, crisp air, and city lights made the perfect backdrop for deep conversations, belly laughs, and fresh vision.

Each of us gets two hours in the “hot seat” — a truly special space to share our hearts, our businesses, and our ministries. There’s room for laughter, tears, awkward silence, and those major a-ha moments that keep us growing year after year.

We’ve been meeting monthly since 2017, and I’m so grateful for the wisdom, friendship, and freedom we’ve found along the way. 💕

This event was everything moms needed and more.

So grateful to speak alongside the amazing Chery Luke during our Permission to Pause session. It was a beautiful time to reflect on the day and a powerful moment of connection that led to tears for many.

Events like this remind us: we don’t just show up to learn—it’s also about laughing, relaxing, and releasing what we’ve been carrying. ✨

At the end of the day, when you find the DJ, photographers, and staff are smiling just as much as the moms?!?!

Malek took his 5 hour Physician Assistant program exam today and PASSED!!! Not just passed, but got a remarkable score!!!

All glory to God!

This has been a diff-i-cult journey. Malek has walked through the fire and come out the other side. Please, give it up, for this upcoming member of the medical community!!!

Graduation is in 2 weeks and we can’t wait to celebrate!!

This Year 2 of hosting a retreat for moms, and let me tell you, we had a TIME!! Thank you for your example and your teaching.

The word retreat doesn’t really seem to cover what happens when we gather- it’s an encounter with God, an experience of sisterhood, and intensive of learning.

We laugh.
We pray.
We eat.
We learn.
We get vulnerable.
We leave changed.

These moms came in from 4 states and are now home. Today I rest and reflect on ALL that goodness the Lord did over the past few days.

I can hardly believe I’m typing this… but I have signed a BOOK CONTRACT!

This has been a long time coming, and now it’s really happening. A year-long weekly devotional, written just for moms—because I see you, I hear you, and I know how much you pour into your family every single day.

I’m writing a book to pour love and support back into you.

This book is for the moms who feel stretched too thin to find time for God. The ones who fear saying that truth out loud. The ones longing for more faith in the middle of the daily mom-madness.

I can’t wait to share more details soon, but for now, I just want to say THANK YOU. For all who are cheering me on, for each of you who trust me to speak into your motherhood journey, and for walking this road with me.
