But it’s still too hot for screened in porches in Austin, Texas. 😭

We are so proud to have completed this project and what it represents. This is essentially our version of a “spec” home. Also known as a “flip”. But that word unfortunately comes with so much baggage and rightfully so. As a professional construction and remodeling company we’ve performed work for many home owners who purchased “renovated” flips. These houses were the definition of lipstick on a pig. Cover it up, do it cheap, and hire a jack of all trades so that it goes fast and cheap. That just doesn’t work in remodeling. This project attempts to show that there is a market for quality and professionalism in the flip market. Tell us about any experiences you’ve had or someone you know who is doing it the right way!

Words of encouragement today. There’s lots of pain in this world unfortunately. Everyone has experienced pain. Deep pain, if they’ve been around long enough. We believe we are here to show up to try and heal some of that pain in any small way we can. It’s really hard to do. The good news: usually it starts with just a smile.

This kitchen and living area remodel took place on a home in Travis Heights neighborhood of Austin known for its historic homes. This home had an addition added onto its original Tudor frame. Our team took out the old IKEA cabinets and installed blended modern and classic elements to pay homage to the old and the new in this home. Custom face frame cabinetry, Cosentino 2cm countertop, handmade/stained butcher block island, and modern appliances are elements that blend together to find a balance between the past and future of this home’s story.
