The 2026 Texas FFA State Leadership Conference hosted over 100 area officers, who represent all members across the state. They successfully completed professional development training and conducted official business on behalf of the area associations.
Conference attendees also gave back to the host city through a service project benefiting The Rainbow Room of Lubbock, with enough donated items to fill 30 gift baskets (and more) for children and families in crisis.
Thank you to our hosts at Texas Tech Davis College of Agricultural Sciences & Natural Resources, sponsors, presenters, volunteers for making this incredible experience possible and investing in the next generation of agriculture leaders!

We encourage all Texas FFA exhibitors, families, agricultural science teachers, and volunteers to review linked documents and take proactive steps to protect their animals. Routine activities associated with livestock management, including tagging, tattooing, dehorning, castration, branding, and treatment of wounds, can create opportunities for infestation if wounds are not monitored carefully.
The health and well-being of Texas livestock remains our top priority. With more than 175,000 Texas FFA members and thousands of livestock exhibitors across the state, awareness, vigilance, and early detection will play a critical role in preventing the spread of this pest.
Thank you for your cooperation and commitment to protecting animal agriculture in Texas.
