On this first Sunday in Lent, we pray that during our own times of testing, God may be our spiritual nourishment, showing authority in our lives, so that we may hunger for righteousness and live in peace and safety, worshiping and serving God.

Across this season, we have listened for where Christ is being born now, in communities resisting violence, practicing accompaniment, standing in solidarity with Palestine, and shaping what it means to be a Peace Church in a world marked by empire.

Transportation issues:

- Many people experiencing hunger also face transportation barriers that make accessing grocery stores and food pantries difficult or impossible. DoorDash is rolling out an “Emergency Food Response” in reaction to the potential disruption of Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP) benefits.
