Ya know, we used to think The New Movement's Knockout Comedy Tournament sucked. But we learned something this past Monday night when Wreck Cent3r TOOK OVER the Knockout. The Monday Night Knockout DOES NOT suck. The troupes that perform in it are all AMAZING troupes. The New Movement is a phenomenal comedy theater that pumps out great shows and great performers constantly. The staff at TNM are all insanely talented people who are amazing at their craft. So what could be the reason behind the suckage? Those two dopes Redd "Mr. Monday Night" Jefferson and Roy "The Toy" Hammer!! These two knuckleheads, who host The Knockout on a weekly basis, decided to take the night off Monday. Wreck Cent3r, being the classy gentlemen we are, stepped in to host the show. TNM's own Dirty Sunshine and ColdTowne Theater's Lady Parts put on one hell of a performance!! It was a glorious night of comedy goodness that will never be forgotten in the minds of that sold out crowd. The crowd, performers and TNM staff loved Wreck Cent3r's hosting so much they awarded us the legendary Knockout Championship Belt!! We wear it with pride!! We will continue to do so until those D**k and Doink twins give us our Cagematch Championship 2x4 back!!

One of ColdTowne Theaters baddest and funniest troupes, Lady Parts, fights to get the ColdTowne Cagematch 2x4 back from those buttheads who run The Knockout tournament tonight at 930pm at The New Movement. Those monsters stole it during last weeks ColdTowne Theater Cagmeatch. Come out and support Lady Parts and help get our 2x4 back from those neanderthals!! The show is live streamed too so tune in if you can't make it. You won't wanna miss it.

Here it is!! The most coveted comedy trophy in all of Austin, the legendary ColdTowne CAGEMATCH Champion 2x4!! Many troupes over the years have had the honor of signing this little piece of Austin comedy history. YOU can help decide who will be the next troupe to chisel their name into this barbaric monstrosity this Wednesday night at 10pm when Pesos For Quesos takes on Wednesday Traffic!! Who will conquer and who will fall? You decide. Only at ColdTowne Theater!!

Congratulations to AJAR for their victory last night in Knockout at The New Movement! We'd have loved a chance to hold both the ColdTowne Theater Cagematch and Knockout at TNM titles at the same time, but if we had to lose, we are glad it was to such a great group of people.

Also thanks to Roy and Mr. Monday himself, Redd Jefferson, along with everyone at The New Movement, for making us feel at home and giving us an opportunity to play on your stage. We appreciate it and we hope to be back to further Wreck It!® soon!
