Happy National Assisted Living Week! The theme for the year is “Shining Through the Years,” honoring residents, caregivers, and staff alike. The needs and interests of assisted living residents have changed over the years, and communities have evolved with them. This means flexible design and infrastructure that enable meaningful renovations, redesign, and repositioning. At Pi, we are already thinking about the next generation of assisted living communities. Pi's volunteers make a meaningful difference! Our team recently wrote letters of encouragement to the residents of Westminster Austin. What may seem like a simple note can be a gesture that someone is thinking of you today. Creating opportunities for people to connect and build a sense of belonging goes beyond the spaces in a building; it is about creating community.

This past Sunday, we celebrated Grandparents Day. We are pleased to celebrate the many contributions grandparents make to the lives of their families and others, and we are proud to design communities that enable intergenerational connections and family visits and that offer amenities the whole family can enjoy.
