Meet Meghan Oberg, a familiar and much-loved face at Redeemer! 💙🧡
Meghan has been part of the Redeemer community since 2010, when she first joined us as a camp counselor and after-school care teacher. After graduating from Concordia University Texas in 2016, Meghan became a full-time teacher—and we are so thankful she did! And now both her children also attend Redeemer in the preschool and 2nd grade!
One of Meghan’s favorite parts of teaching at Redeemer is the opportunity to build meaningful, lasting relationships with her students. ❤️ She often gets to teach the same students throughout their entire time at Redeemer, giving her the incredible opportunity to watch them grow, learn, and become the people God created them to be.
When she’s not at school, Meghan enjoys traveling, reading, thrifting, and tending to her fishpond. 🐟📚✈️ And something you may not know about her? Meghan is a car enthusiast! 🚗
From camp counselor to full-time teacher, Meghan has spent more than 16 years investing in the Redeemer community. We are so grateful for the love, dedication, and relationships she brings to our school each day!

As parents and educators, we have the incredible opportunity to teach our children not only what to learn, but how to be lifelong learners—humble enough to listen, curious enough to ask questions, and wise enough to seek guidance. ✨
At Redeemer, we pray our students grow in knowledge and wisdom, always remembering that true wisdom begins with listening and seeking God’s guidance. 🙏

📬📦 MIDDLE SCHOOL ELECTIVES: OFFICE AIDES! 📦📬
At Redeemer, middle school students get to choose two electives each semester, giving them the opportunity to explore their interests, learn new skills, and contribute to our school community in meaningful ways.
Meet Katie and Vivian—two of our incredible Office Aides who keep things moving behind the scenes at Redeemer! 🧡💙
As Office Aides, these Rattlers are always on the go! Their responsibilities include:
📬 Sorting and delivering mail
📦 Delivering packages and boxes all around campus
📄 Counting and preparing papers for Friday Folders and teachers
🔎 Sorting, organizing, and displaying our Lost & Found
📝 Helping teachers with whatever extra tasks need to be done
🚶♀️ And basically being on call for whatever the office or our teachers need!
They deliver A LOT of boxes, packages, papers, and everything in between—and they do it all with a great attitude and a willingness to help. We are so thankful for the extra set of hands (and feet!) that Katie and Vivian provide each day. ❤️
And yes…there are perks! 😉 Every once in a while, when treats make their way to the front office, our Office Aides get to enjoy them too! 🍪🍬
We love seeing our Rattlers take ownership, serve others, and become an important part of what makes Redeemer special!

Meet the newest members of the Redeemer family!
The STEM room has some adorable new residents! Mrs. Swihart’s STEM class is now home to three guinea pigs—two full-grown boys and one adorable 4-month-old baby boy! 💙
These furry friends are more than just cute classroom pets—they’re also helping our students learn about responsibility, animal care, daily needs, and the importance of providing a safe and healthy environment. From learning what guinea pigs need to thrive to helping care for their space, our students are getting some hands-on lessons that go far beyond the textbook!
We’re excited to watch our students learn, care, and grow alongside their new little STEM buddies. 🐹🔬❤️

SPIRIT WEEK WAS A BLAST!
Last week, our Redeemer Rattlers showed off their school spirit with a different dress-up theme every day! 🎉

From superheroes to sports stars, holiday cheer to decades gone by, our students and staff brought the FUN and the SPIRIT all week long! 🐍🧡💙
And the excitement doesn’t stop there! Our Rattler Road Donation Week has been an incredible success. We have now raised an AMAZING $87,700 toward our $90,000 goal! 🤯🎉
We are SO close! Donations are still being accepted TODAY, and every gift helps us reach the finish line and make some exciting improvements around campus.

🏈 RAIN OR SHINE, OUR RATTLERS FIGHT! 🏈
When the rain started pouring, our 7/8 Flag Football team didn’t slow down—they kept pushing, kept battling, and kept playing!
And when the final whistle blew… VICTORY!
Way to show that Rattler grit, boys! We’re proud of you! 🧡💙
🏐🧡 Rattler Homecoming was one for the books! 🧡🏐
Last night was Redeemer Rattler Homecoming, and what a night it was! We went into the evening ready for 4 games and 4 wins against Austin Classical—and our Rattlers delivered! 🎉
The rain had other plans for our Flag Football games, and unfortunately had to be cancelled, but our Volleyball teams came out swinging and brought home the victories! 🏐🔥
And the best part? The Rattler crowd showed up! Families, students, and fans filled the stands to cheer on our athletes, celebrate their hard work, and make Homecoming feel extra special. We even had Redeemer alumni return to campus to cheer on the next generation of Rattlers! 🧡💙
There’s just something special about Rattler pride, Homecoming, and a community that shows up for one another.
